Sold: Amels 200

The first week of November 2019 marked the conclusion of the sale of the 60.1m Amels 200 hull No.1. The yacht is one of two currently under construction at the Dutch shipyard and is due for delivery in spring 2021.

This marks our 29^th successful sale of 2019, building on a remarkable year so far. An industry report published in July hailed Burgess as the world's leading brokerage firm following four major large yacht sales between January and June 2019, totalling EUR 440,424,140 based on last asking prices.

When compared to 2018, these four sales alone contributed to the overall market value of superyacht sales increasing by 64 percent year on year. In the period analysed, Burgess accounted for 37 percent of the total transacted superyacht sales market value.
