Price reduction on CRAZY – bring offers
Published 08 February 2024
*Updated 8 February: in a bid to find the yacht’s next owner soon, a keen seller has instructed a second EUR 1,000,000 price reduction. CRAZY is now asking EUR 6,900,000 (EU VAT paid) and the right offer will buy her ahead of the summer season. Bring offers and this pristine yacht could be yours.
As well as the latest model available for sale in the much-admired Mangusta 130 series, she is also by far the best. With low use, condition is immaculate. She has the five-cabin layout for 11 guests and is charter compliant. She has the aft deck jacuzzi, low engine hours on the series’ most powerful engines and a freshly completed 10-year class survey. Come and see her for yourself in Golfe-Juan, South of France.
She is capable of 38 knots and cruises at 34 knots. Combined with a draft of 1.8m (5.9ft) this opens up riviera ports and anchorages out of bounds to most.
CRAZY has a composite hull constructed by Italian shipyard Overmarine to Bureau Veritas classification and commercial compliance. Delivered in 2014 with exterior design by Stefano Righini and interiors by the in-house team, she was last refitted in 2019 during her five-year class survey. She presents in as-new condition.
The foredeck has an enormous sunpad, aft of which is an open-air dining area with optional shade from awnings.
Walkaround sidedecks lead aft to a lounge with two L-shaped banquettes shaded by the overhang and a large sunpad, beneath which there is a jacuzzi.
Steps either side lead down to the swim platform and the garage for the yacht’s 5.5m (18ft) Castoldi Jet tender. There is also stowage for two jetskis or watertoys in bulwarks either side of the sunpad, launched by crane through shell doors.
From the main deck aft, full-height sliding glass doors open into a bar and dining area, forward of which is a lounge with two opposing C-shaped sofas around coffee tables. A sunroof opens above the space for conviviality beneath the day and night sky and aft of the bridge is a 46in pop-up TV, part of her upgraded AVIT systems inside and out.
Unlike most Mangusta 130s, she welcomes up to 11 guests in five cabins. The owner’s suite is full beam on the lower deck with sofa seating to port and a vanity table to starboard. Port aft is a private office, opposite an en suite with large shower room. Forward of a second desk are his-and-hers dressing areas.
Forward of the owner’s suite there are two VIP double suites, a convertible suite and a twin suite with an additional berth, completing her highly versatile accommodation. CRAZY also sleeps up to five crew.
Twin 4,600hp MTU diesel engines drive Kamewa waterjets to produce her exhilarating performance and she has a range of 450nm at her passage speed.
Burgess is delighted to offer the mint-condition CRAZY to the sales market with EU VAT paid and, following a second EUR price reduction, an asking price of EUR 6,900,000*. The yacht is lying in Golfe Juan where she must be seen to appreciate the impeccable order she is in. Please contact a Burgess broker to find out more and arrange your visit.
