MY SECRET is for sale
Published 01 November 2023
The 46.7m (153.2ft) motor yacht MY SECRET has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure built to Lloyd’s classification and MCA compliance and delivered in 2012 by Dutch shipyard Heesen. Exterior design is by Omega Architects and British studio Bannenberg & Rowell fashioned her 491GT interior. Her northern European pedigree is evident throughout.
The yacht completed her 10-year survey and is in very good condition operationally. She was repainted in 2021 with a ‘petrol-blue’ hull and white superstructure.
Her sun deck has a spacious lounge beneath the hardtop with sofas and daybeds around circular tables. There is a fully equipped heated curved bar aft and a jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads forward and both areas feature cactus garden planters.
A generous entertaining space on the upper deck aft has open-air dining and a bar beneath the overhang with a sun lounge and cactus garden aft.
On the main deck aft there is U-shaped lounge seating around a coffee table, also with cactus garden planters, and steps aft lead down to the swim platform and a dayhead off the large tender and toy garage.
The starboard sidedeck leads from the main deck aft, past the dayhead off the main lobby to steps up to the foredeck where the yacht’s second jacuzzi amid U-shaped sunpads. Beneath the sunpads is a rescue tender launched by a deck crane and steps forward lead down to the mooring area.
The main saloon has a lounge aft with sofas and armchairs around a coffee table. The formal dining area is forward, close to the galley, and features an oval dining table.
A spiral staircase in the lobby leads up to the sky lounge, which has sofas and armchairs arranged in a convivial circular formation as well as a fully equipped bar and wine cellar.
The yacht welcomes 10 guests in five suites. The full-beam owner’s suite is forward on the main deck. Off the main lobby is an owner’s office, which leads into the bedroom. Forward is a marble-floored en suite with feature oval bathtub and next to that is a walk-in wardrobe.
The lower deck is home to two double suites and two twin suites. Forward of that is accommodation for eight crew and the captain’s cabin is aft of the bridge on the upper deck.
Twin 1,341hp MTU diesel engines have relatively low engine hours at 7,500. These give the yacht a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots. She has transatlantic range of 4,000nm and Naiad zero speed stabilisers ensure comfort on arrival.
