85.6m megayacht CAKEWALK - sold!

The magnificent 85.6m CAKEWALK was sold yesterday, with Burgess representing both the buyer and the seller. This is the 37^th yacht sold by Burgess this year, culminating in almost EUR 1.3 billion worth of yachts sold by the company so far in 2014. The recent flurry of sales across all size categories, encompassing both sailing and motor yachts, accurately reflects Burgess' consistent sales performance throughout 2014.

CAKEWALK is the third largest luxury yacht sold by Burgess this year, following the sale of the iconic 90m NERO in May and the 86m Feadship ECSTASEA in June.

CAKEWALK has an unprecedented volume of 2,998GT and was designed by the revered Tim Heywood, with an Elizabeth Dalton interior. Delivered in 2010 by Derecktor Shipyards, she has accommodation for 14 guests in seven cabins, including an entire deck for the owner's private use, and luxurious guest areas spread across five vast decks.

The asking price was EUR 119,000,000.

CAKEWALK will be managed through Burgess.
