Trainee Associate Broker
We are looking for a Brokerage Partner support and trainee role for the brokerage department who will be an integral part of the Burgess Team and deliver the high standard of service that is synonymous with the Burgess brand.
The candidate will be shadowing the London based Brokerage Partners and supporting them in their everyday activity. The position will require the individual to communicate and perform at the highest, most professional level. The position will be based in our London Office.
Duties
- Work alongside the Brokerage Partners in servicing new and existing clients
- Assist with preparation of yacht presentations and reports
- Assist with all client/general correspondence
- Record all client activity in the Burgess Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Assist with booking of yacht visits/inspections
- To assist the Brokerage Partners throughout the sales process including the collating of contractual documentation
- Assist with data mining and sourcing new clients and yacht listings
- Assist Brokerage Partners with client campaigns and mailings
- Work with Brokerage Partners in establishing and managing relationships with clients, client representatives and captains
- The ability to resolve problems in a pressured environment
- Participation at broker open days and boat shows including stand/reception cover
- Miscellaneous admin duties as required

- First-hand experience on yachts (preferred but not essential)
