Growing up in Surrey, Stuart took to the water at an early age, learning to sail at school while spending his summers on the coast enjoying the family boat. He joined the yachting industry in 2006 working as a Bosun, Chief Officer and Captain aboard a range of vessels from 15-55m, cruising extensively throughout the Mediterranean, East Coast of US and the Caribbean. Stuart holds a Master 3,000GT licence. Prior to yachting, Stuart worked as a qualified Chartered Surveyor for some of the UK’s most prestigious property consultancies, culminating in him being made Director of Office Agency at Flude Commercial in 2004.

In his spare time, Stuart is an avid sports fan with a keen interest in football and motor racing, having raced go-karts at club level for many years. Stuart now lives on the Cote d’Azur with his wife and daughter.
