Steve started his career as engineering apprentice with the Royal Air Force, moving on to gain experience working in the Electricity Generating Industry and both the South African and British Merchant Navy. He has served as a Department of Trade qualified marine engineer for over 20 years enjoying working as a chief engineer, commercially and in the yachting industry. In 2000, he moved ashore working for the Marblehead Co. as the technical manager. Steve joined Burgess in 2005 as a yacht manager.
