Anuar has a Bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering and a First Engineer unlimited license from the Merchant Marine Academy in Venezuela. His time at sea began as a Junior Third Engineer then Third Engineer on board tankers. Looking to add a little fun to his career, he spent three years sailing the Caribbean as a Second Engineer then Chief Engineer on board the tall ships of Windjammer Barefoot Cruises. In 2001, he made a move to the yachting Industry, in which he was Second Engineer on yachts up to 77m and Chief Engineer on yachts up to 60m.

In his spare time, Anuar enjoys playing tennis, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
