At a very young age, Craig’s family moved to Naples, Italy where his father was stationed while serving in the US Military.  During his nine years living in Naples, the family travelled extensively through Europe. From this point, travelling would always be a part of his life.  Craig earned a degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Catawba College in Salisbury, NC. After graduation, Craig worked in sales for several companies from telecom, paging, mortgages and computer software. In 1998, he was introduced to yachting. Taking a leap of faith, Craig left the computer software job to try his hand as yacht crew. It didn’t take long to know he had found his calling. Over the next 12 years as crew, Craig was involved with some of the top charter yachts in the fleet. He finished the build on the 62m Feadship CAKEWALK, spending 6.5 years with this program. He also finished the build on 58m A&R LADY SHERIDAN, spending a total of 2.5 years on board. Craig also worked on 57m A&R EXCELLENCE III. He worked his way to Chief Officer during his time as crew. Craig joined Burgess in 2011 in the New York office. He’s married with three lovely children.
