German-born and multilingual in French and English, Britta grew up and completed her academic career in Germany. Following her first professional experience in international trade, Britta decided to move abroad for an undefined period, and she chose France as her home 29 years ago. Although she discovered the superyacht industry by coincidence, she immediately knew that this would be her future.

Britta joined the Brokerage department of Camper & Nicholsons in 2003 before moving into Charter Management. Her next move was at the invitation of Burgess in 2012 where she remains as respected and highly qualified member of the Charter Management team. Her commitment to excellence and her effective communication, responsive action, efficient marketing ideas and constant effort to achieve the best negotiation, allows her to remain a humble but revered role model within her team.

In her free time, Britta’s passion is the mountains - skiing in the winter and hiking and biking in the summer. She also loves travelling with her family and dogs in a camper van.
