What is the Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show?

The Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show is one of the premier boat shows in the world. Previously located at Collins Avenue on Miami Beach, the show moved to a new format in 2022 and is now hosted across five land and in-water locations in South Florida.

Under the new partnership of the National Marine Manufacturers Association and Informa, the newly named Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show increased in size when the Miami International Boat Show joined forces with the Miami Yacht Show and SuperYacht Miami to create the world’s largest marine show.

Spread over five locations in Miami’s Biscayne Bay, the show’s on-land component is hosted in the reimagined Miami Beach Convention Center and Pride Park, while multiple in-water locations include One Herald Plaza, Sea Isle Marina, Museum Park Marina and the IGY Yacht Haven Grande at Island Gardens.

The Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show is centred in downtown Miami, between the MacArthur and Venetian causeways. Taking in Sea Isle Marina, the SuperYacht Miami component is conveniently located by the Burgess Miami Beach office.

For those looking for marine accessories, the Miami Beach Convention Center hosts trade experts showcasing everything from electronics to engine manufacturers and power boats up to 15m (49ft). Here, visitors will also find the Electric Pavilion with everything from the latest battery-powered boat models to examples of state-of-the-art electric propulsion systems.

Neighbouring Pride Park is where visitors will find a series of boating and yachting lifestyle events throughout the show. From educational seminars and yachting and boating lifestyle activities, visitors can sign up for a variety of watersports experiences, educational and informational boating related seminars, and view marine accessory demonstrations, the latter of which take place at the AquaZone. There is also a Conservation Village, where visitors can find out everything they need to know about how they can play their part in protecting the marine environment.

Tenders, engines and accessories, as well as larger power boats and motor yachts up to 40m (125ft) in length, are on display at One Herald Plaza, while Sea Isle Marina is the place to head for test drives in the water. The Museum Park Marina is for the sailing yacht enthusiast, with all things sail related on display, including sailing accessories, sailboats, and catamarans.

SuperYacht Miami is where the largest and most luxurious vessels at the show take centre stage. Located at the IGY Yacht Haven Grande at Island Gardens Deep Harbour, Burgess and other leading superyacht industry specialists, including shipyards, display recent launches and pre-owned superyachts. This is also where leading charter specialists, including Burgess, showcase some of the finest yachts for charter.
