Burgess is delighted to announce that the sale of the 49.9m (163.7ft) MISUNDERSTOOD was concluded in Florida on 25 September after just five months on the market with Burgess.

Commissioned by an experienced owner, who has previously owned several Mangusta yachts, MISUNDERSTOOD is hull No.7 of the Mangusta 165 series. She was launched by Overmarine in Italy in 2012 to a dynamic exterior design by Stefano Righini and a contemporary interior design by Valentina Balducci.

Three 4,610hp MTU diesel engines driving triple water jets enable this yacht to cruise comfortably at over 30 kn with a maximum speed of 38 kn. As this yacht has been used only privately, engine hours are very low too. Shallow draft of just 1.9m (6.2ft) means she can explore shoals and lagoons of Florida and the Bahamas that are off-limits to many large yachts.

She accommodates nine guests in four cabins, including a full-beam owner's suite with a separate owner's office, a VIP stateroom, one further double and a twin cabin with one additional berth. She also has a gym and media room midships. There is a jacuzzi on the spacious aft deck with al fresco dining forward of that, a lounge area with sun pads on the foredeck and further lounge space on the sun deck.

Burgess is proud to have concluded the sale of MISUNDERSTOOD on the seller's behalf in only five months.
