Burgess embarks on US expansion

Burgess, the market-leading full-service superyacht company, is embarking on the first wave of its US expansion with the announcement of a new office in the heart of Miami’s financial district. 

The spacious office is located on the 27th floor of the state-of-the-art 1450 Brickell office tower designed by the celebrated architectural firm, Nichols Architects. The 35-story Class-A tower boasts tenants including JP Morgan Chase, Bilzin Sumberg, Boston Consulting Group, Morrison Brown Argiz & Farra, and a number of leading law firms, family offices and private equity firms. 

Burgess’s expansion to the Brickell area, known as Wall Street South, comes on the heels of a number of leading hedge funds and tech companies such as Ken Griffin’s Citadel that have recently relocated to the area, and several prominent firms relocating their headquarters to South Florida including Carl Icahn’s Icahn Enterprises and Barry Sternlicht’s Starwood Capital Group. The office is conveniently located within walking distance to the city’s chef-driven restaurants, five-star hotels such as the Four Seasons Miami and Mandarin Oriental, and within minutes to the Brightline transportation enabling Burgess’ team of charter brokers and sales brokers to travel effortlessly between Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach.
