Gareth is a Technical Manager in Burgess’ Yacht Management division. Gareth joined Burgess at the start of 2021 after a career at sea that began in the cruise sector and ended on superyachts. After leaving working at sea behind Gareth spent a short time in the defence sector supporting the Royal Navy where he also completed an MSc in Engineering for Marine Professionals via distance learning.

Gareth holds a UK Class 1 Certificate of Competency, is CEng registered with the Engineers Council and a Member of IMarEST.

Outside of work Gareth enjoys the arts, DIY, cooking and dog walking.
