Kevin began his maritime career in 1996, working on commercial research vessels in the Pacific Ocean. While attending the California Maritime Academy in 2001, his love of ship design and engineering propelled the switch to the yachting industry. He spent the next 15 years working through the ranks to become a Captain overseeing vessel management, crew operations, budgeting and shipyard refits.

Kevin started on his brokerage career in 2016 and brought his expertise to Burgess in 2021, focusing on the global superyacht market and new construction projects. His practical knowledge and experience on larger vessels make for a valuable addition to the Beverly Hills Team. He maintains his Master 3000GT Upon Oceans Captain’s licence and is a proud member of the Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association (MYBA).

When not attending a yacht show or visiting a shipyard, Kevin can be found in southern California, raising his son and staying active outdoors.
